HIGHWAY

The Government of India has embarked upon a massive National Highways Development Project (NHDP) in the country. The National Highway Authority of India (NHAI) has been assigned to take up the development of various National Highways corridors where the traffic intensity has increased significantly thereby necessitating capacity augmentation for safe and efficient movements of traffic. As part of this endeavour, the project implementation unit (PIU), Pune has decided to develop the much awaited six lane tunnel in Khambatki Ghat section.
